Training and access

Get view access

Before accessing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, you must complete the following training:

  1. Complete the FERPA Tutorial training. For more information, see the FERPA page.
  2. Complete the SDI (Student Data Inquiry) training. View the “What do you get access to with SDI” doc for more information. 

Once you have finished the required PeopleSoft view access training, you will receive a verification email. This email will include a link to the PeopleSoft Access Request Form (ARF) and next-step instructions.

Get update access

Complete the SDU (Student Data Update) required training if you need to make updates to student records in PeopleSoft CS. 

This training prepares staff to understand update processes for the following pages:

  • Service Indicators
  • Term Activate a Student
  • Student Groups
  • Student Advisor
Update add-on roles

Review the available PeopleSoft update roles below to identify any that match your needs. Complete the required training for your role to gain access. 

Once you have finished the training, you will receive a verification email that includes a link to the PeopleSoft Access Request Form (ARF) and next-step instructions.

CCS (Collaborative Class Scheduling)

Class schedulers must complete this training to gain access to the CCS scheduling pages for Twin Cities and Rochester classes. You can also:

  • Add and cancel class sections
  • Adjust class enrollment capacities
  • Update dates and times of classes
  • Assign instructors to sections
  • Create waitlists
  • Combine sections
  • Manage class permissions

Enroll students via the Quick Enroll page, the Enrollment Request page, and Block Enrollment.

Quick Admit

Note: You must complete SDU training first. 

Use the Quick Admit process to add a student to PeopleSoft. Role is typically limited for staff in the Learning Abroad Center or College of Continuing and Professional Studies. Contact [email protected] to request and schedule training.
