The Office of Classroom Management (OCM) is the central point of contact for all general purpose classrooms, study spaces, and academic scheduling at the University of Minnesota. We partner with University departments, teams, and community members to customize a variety of classrooms, learning spaces, and study spaces, provide high-quality learning and teaching experiences, improve classroom scheduling processes, and share best practices and guidance. Classroom Technical Services
Classroom Technical Services (CTS) is an internal service organization unit within the Office of Classroom Management. CTS offers design, installation, and maintenance services for audio/video technology, supporting the unique needs of educational and research environments.

Planning and Operations
The Planning and Operations teams work with the University to facilitate building, classroom, and study space development, construction, renovations, and repair. From the physical design and planning to regular room maintenance and readiness, we are involved in all stages of development for a space down to the fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E).

Academic Scheduling
The scheduling team is responsible for scheduling classes and final exams, maintaining the class database, providing support, training, and system administration for Collaborative Class Scheduling (CCS) and 25Live, and generating classroom utilization analysis and reporting.

Service
The Service team manages classroom event and meeting reservations and supports faculty and staff on campus. We provide classroom technology consultation, evaluation, and issue resolution, while also ensuring each space meets technology standards and development.
