This fall, post-baccalaureate degrees for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics (BMBB) and Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics (MCDBG) are moving from the Graduate School to the College of Biological Sciences (CBS).
Current students were moved to CBS in July, milestones were moved in August, and students will see their updated information and requirements in the Graduate Planning & Audit System (GPAS) once fall term begins. Through September, Academic Support Resources (ASR) will closely monitor students who are graduating and then complete final data clean up.
These programs are the final programs that need to be moved from the Graduate School, so the College Change Project will also conclude at the end of September.
The College Change Project is a collaboration between the Graduate School and ASR to move remaining degrees from the Graduate School into their degree-granting collegiate home. This multi-year project involved a cross-functional project team moving designated degrees to their new collegiate home each fall. As part of the work, the team created new academic plan codes in PeopleSoft and moved current students, milestones, and degree requirements to the new college.
