The Program and Curriculum Approval System (PCAS) is the system by which degree program curriculum are proposed, reviewed, and approved for the program catalog.
PCAS is a secure system that requires Internet ID authentication to enter, edit, or approve curricular changes. All U of M faculty and staff can view PCAS entries. More information is available in the PCAS FAQ.
- If you need to be authorized to enter or approve programs in PCAS, contact the Office of the Registrar (OTR) Training & Support team at email@example.com. Your supervisor's approval will be required.
- If you have completed training for PCAS and have problems logging in to the application to update or approve your programs, contact Technology Help at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-301-4357 (1-HELP).
Please note that because of security requirements, there is a timeout on the use of PCAS. If you have the application open for more than 30 minutes with no activity, you will be asked to sign in again.
Information on course designators and requesting new course designators is available.
