The UX and Content Strategy team has a diverse set of skills to support the user experiences (UX) of ASR’s services, systems, processes, products, and communications.

ASR Operations and Strategic Initiatives helps University staff and faculty get the correct access to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and other student-related systems. We also serve as the point of contact for questions about ASR training courses and requirements.

ASR Operations and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for student data privacy at the University, governed by FERPA and University policies including Managing Student Records, Information Security, and Data Security Classification.

We offer consultation, advice, and training on FERPA and private student data; contact ferpa@umn.edu.

Academic Support Resources serves as the policy contact or owner for many of the University’s Education & Student Life policies. ASR Operations and Strategic Initiatives supports this policy work at the University by interpreting policy, answering policy questions, and supporting the policy process including regular comprehensive reviews. For questions regarding academic policies, email asr@umn.edu.

The Application Development team builds and supports critical applications that are integral to ASR in order to meet the need of our students and the greater University communities. From web page management to online tool development for students, faculty, and staff, the team strives to implement innovative resources that improve our support, services and user experience. The Projects team provides oversight and full-service project management for all ASR projects and portfolios to better align value, timing, and staff resources. The team also offers centralized cross-functional project coordination and coaching for staff who want to develop new skills. The team includes centralized business analysis and service teams to help with project planning.
